Rachelle is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who has a wealth of experience in the development and implementation of personalised rehabilitation programs. Since attaining a Degree in Exercise Science and a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation (2011) at the University of Ballarat, Rachelle continues to develop her skills and knowledge by attending workshops and education seminars. She works with a broad range of conditions including neurological, orthopaedic, oncology and other chronic conditions. Rachelle has spent a number of years worked with in Epworth Healthcare, Alfred Health and in Private setting.
Rachelle’s treatment and education she provides to her clients are guided by an individual's requirements and goals. She has a passion for helping people with returning to high level mobility or those wishing to engaging in activities for the first time. Rachelle has training in return to running, cycling, swimming and improving coordination.
Rachelle understands that healthcare can be provided in a number of settings and acknowledges the environment that will be most beneficial to the individual weather this is hospital, home or community based eg. parks, local recreational facilities, including hydrotherapy and gym based therapy sessions.
Rachelle provides a friendly and enthusiastic approach to helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation and personal goals. Her sessions make her sessions enjoyable while meaningful, exercise and being active should not be a chore!
Rachelle has always had a passion for an active healthy life and like many has suffered from injuries and set backs along the way which is what led her to pursue her career as an Exercise Physiologist.
