Personalised Rehabilitation Exercise Programs

Rachelle is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, distinguished by her comprehensive expertise in formulating and executing individualised rehabilitation programs. She completed her Undergraduate Degree in Exercise Sports Science and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation from the University of Ballarat in 2011. Rachelle is dedicated to professional development, frequently participating in workshops and seminars to enhance her clinical skills.

Her practice encompasses a wide array of conditions, including neurological, Acquired Brain Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke, orthopaedic, rehabilitation post surgery, oncology-related challenges, and various chronic conditions. With 15 years of experience in hospitals, including Epworth Healthcare and Alfred Health as well as in private practice, Rachelle is adept at customising her treatment approaches and educational strategies to fulfil the unique needs and aspirations of each client.

Rachelle's passion lies in empowering individuals to reclaim high levels of mobility or to engage in activities they may not have previously thought possible. Her training includes returning to running, cycling, swimming, recreational activities, equipping her to guide clients through diverse rehabilitation and strengthening journeys.

Rachelle's unwavering dedication is profoundly motivated by the success and achievement of her patients. She strives to empower them to reach their personal goals, whatever they may be, fostering an environment where their aspirations are not only understood but actively pursued. Rachelle participates in professional development in various domains, such as neurological conditions and exercise prescription as directed by the most current research. This is essential for ensuring Rachelle provides the most up to date treatment for her clients.

What to Expect

  • Initial assessment

    Each Client undergoes an initial assessment.

    initial assessments are generally 60 mins which allows for a thorough assessment to take place. Information gathered and outcome measures completed and if time permits goals are established.

  • Development of Personalised Program

    Establishing a personalised program. Program will focus on the findings from initial assessment. Personal and Clinician goals will be addressed within the program.

  • Exercise Prescription

    Recommendations provided to Clients on their personalised program duration and frequency and location (local gym, home, hydrotherapy etc)

    Education and training can be provided to support workers or family and friends as required.
